Reporting to the service manager, this role is suitable for a fully qualified light vehicle mechanic who can demonstrate quality workmanship and customer service skills.

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Have a relevant trade qualification – certificate III in Automotive or higher
• Have a minimum 3 years full time (6000hrs) experience in a mechanical workshop
• Have experience in service, repair, trouble shooting and diagnosing a range of customer vehicles
• Report all necessary work, service or repairs and record using in-house databases or reporting systems
• Write accurate job cards and monitor job times
• Have great mechanical knowledge and competence
• Be able to test drive and quality control prior to the delivery or return of vehicles to customers
• Have the ability to work productively in an autonomous environment
• Be highly motivated
• Have effective verbal and written communication skills
• Have a current driver’s license essential with the ability to drive a manual vehicle

Service and repair vehicles (predominantly Mazda & Nissan), General diagnostics and fault finding, Provide guidance and training to apprentice technicians.
